After saving Gaeleth, the heroes accept her invitation to have tea and cookies. She tells the heroes that Fionghan, the druid that Ellie is looking for, went to Fort Beluarian to gather information about the jungle’s undead and its wildlife.
Afterward, the heroes go to a tavern at the market and eat roasted allosaurus skewers while attending a music contest. A dwarf with black spectacles wins with his Gangnam Style song. The other two contestants, an elf named Melody Froststone who sang Ashes, and Avilos, a halfling who sang Cold Mountain, sit to chat with the heroes after the contest is over. Avilos, hungry for jungle action and an information magnet, asks to join the group and is accepted. Meanwhile, Melody reveals that she misses her recent crush, an elf with a pet wolf who happens to be Ada, Sophi’s lost best friend. Melody tells the group that Ada went into the jungle days ago searching for someone called Valindra. Ada wants to kill her and she thinks she’s hiding at the Heart of Ubtao.
After the drinks, the party splits.
Ada buys supplies, sneaks into the house of one of the guides the group rejected, and steals a map of dubious quality and some letters from a rich mom to her useless son.
Avilos and Chos go to the Temple of Celestian and donate enough money to learn more about the lost city of Omu, the place believed to hold the Soulmonger, the artifact that Chos is looking for and that should cure everybody affected by the undead curse.
Saefa buys supplies and sneaks into Lord Outshine’s villa after flirting with a gladiator and knocking unconscious an innocent maid. Once inside, she spies on Lord Outshine and Helethon while they talk inside an inner patio. Saefa finds out that Helethon is leaving the next day in search of certain artifacts.
Ellie, too, buys supplies and, on her way back to the inn, she’s approached by a little girl who tells her that Fionghan will be waiting for her that night at the warehouse district. On her way back to the inn, she also meets a street urchin, friend of the two kids killed in the previous episode, and with half of his body covered with the undead curse.
Once everybody is back at the inn, the group decides to go to the warehouse district that night to, hopefully, meet Fionghan. Sophi scouts the place beforehand, but in the end, a fight ensues, and the purported Fionghan turns out to be a pissed-off Carnivore and his two thugs looking for revenge. The heroes, however, capture Carnivore in a couple of rounds, while his thugs flee.
