A self-destructive drug addict hacker is hired to do a job. There are a lot of cybernetic modifications, sex and drugs. That’s about all I got because there is too much left to the imagination, which is a problem when you don’t know if something is a metaverse or a physical location. I also couldn’t connect with any of the characters because they were either drug addicts or faceless characters. Eventually I failed to find a good reason to continue reading it.
Highlights
His ugliness was the stuff of legend. In an age of affordable beauty, there was something heraldic about his lack of it.
